Pro #freebsd tip: if you want to use nested jails, make sure you actually set the hosting jail's children property to something other than 0.
Totally did not waste 1h on that '^^.
As a side-note: maybe poudriere could fail in a clearer way when that happens.

Related: TIL that git clone/checkout respects umask... And there is core.sharedRepository, which sounds like it does what I needed, but nope, umask trumps that.
*sigh* I kind of remembered permissions being part of the file, oh well.
