Coorporate Open Source is a PITA.

These companies and the people working there don't quite get it and end up both doing double the work and burdening maintainers '-.-.

Judging by the people I interact with online that do interesting things, I got the feeling that the internet is run by queer, trans, fury, poly people and combinatorial intersections thereof.

Might just be my own bubble, I like to think it's representative though :blob_rainbowheart:

Non-German humans will likely not know that https://social.bund.de/explore is a thing.
Well, they might not know that "the Bund" is what we call the federal government to begin with. And, heck, most German-humans are sadly likely not to know about it either.

So yeah, there has been a German-state-operated #fediverse presence for official affairs that has been slowly but surely gaining importance.

Alrighty, again one of those Email #selfhosted days, in which we get to deal with Microsoft's BS.

So, here we are. You got the feared "Please contact your ISP since part of their network is on our blocklist" error, what now?

Well, first of all, make well damn sure that it's not you who has been misbehaving.

Once that's settled, you can consider getting in touch with MSFT directly, how?
This is actually hidden in tiny links in huge walls of text, and it actually CHANGES over time.
Let's see:

Finally got around to finishing "Better Call Saul", this series surprised me greatly. Now I really want to rewatch "Breaking Bad" :-D.

I noticed recently very clever people bringing themselves down when making silly mistakes.
I guess that's the perfectionist being annoyed at something tiny not going the way they wanted/intended?

IDK where that comes from, but we really shouldn't do that.

If you notice someone being harsh on themselves, try to be kind to them and remind them that... they are making that silly mistake because they are actually doing greater things.

Also, mistakes happen, it's alright.

You're all alright.

Pro #freebsd tip: if you want to use nested jails, make sure you actually set the hosting jail's children property to something other than 0.

Totally did not waste 1h on that '^^.

As a side-note: maybe poudriere could fail in a clearer way when that happens.

So, the private key for regular code-signing certificates will have to be saved on hardware tokens...
Good thing I renewed the code signing cert a few months back and won't have to think about this in two years, it'll be hell-a annoying if this suddenly makes the code-signing process manual...

How on earth is typeform used in anything other than surveys?

It is by far the most annoying forms software I've used for business purposes.

Oh FFS, new computer has an NVIDIA card which apparently doesn't support and therefore wayland on #freebsd just yet... So here I am back to using i3 temporarily >,<
